2025 Rules Committee Special Election

The filing period for the newly created seventh seat on the NHDP Rules Committee is now open. This new position was established as a result of the constitutional amendments adopted at the Midterm Convention in October. This special election will take place during our State Committee meeting on Saturday, January 24, 2026, and all members are encouraged to review the process and participate.

Filing opens December 10, 2025, at 12:00pm, and will remain open until Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 5:00pm. Any State Committee member interested in running must submit their name, email, and phone number to RulesCommittee@nhdp.org. Please note that only emailed filings will be accepted.

Full details on eligibility, filing procedures, balloting, and vote counting are available on the NHDP website, and the complete set of Rules Committee-approved procedures is attached for your reference.
