CONCORD, NH — Today, Chris Christie once again proved to Granite Staters that he’ll say anything to chase power. During his New Hampshire town hall, Christie went after his friend and former boss, Donald Trump. The only problem? Christie can’t undo the years he spent praising, supporting, and cosigning the extreme MAGA agenda.
Here are some of Chris Christie’s highest praises for Trump over the years:
Fox News: "Oh, listen, overall I give the president an A.”
PBS: “There is no one who is better prepared to provide America with the strong leadership that it needs [...] than Donald Trump. [...] Donald Trump is someone that when he makes a promise, he keeps it.”
Politico: “I’m happy to be on the Trump team, and I look forward to working with him.”
New York Times: “He knows who he is and what he believes in. He has a keen understanding of what regular people are feeling. He commands extraordinary loyalty from his supporters and has unique communication skills.”
Politico: “There’s no one who’s shown more genius in their way to maneuver around the tax code [...] What an absolute mess the federal tax code is, and that’s why Donald Trump is the person best positioned to fix it.”
