NHDP Statement on CD-01 Republican Primary Results

MANCHESTER, NH — In response to Karoline Leavitt winning the CD-01 Republican primary race, NHDP spokesperson Monica Venzke released the following statement:

“Karoline Leavitt is a disastrous candidate. From her wildly out of touch support of banning abortion to continuing to perpetuate the false claims that the 2020 election was stolen, she is the last person that Granite State voters want representing them in Washington. I’d wish her luck, but it won’t do her any good. Voters in our First Congressional District want nothing to do with a far-right, MAGA extremist like Karoline, and no amount of luck will change that. Voters will overwhelmingly choose to send Congressman Pappas back to Washington and leave Karoline in the dust.”
