RELEASE: NHDP Statement on False Claims of Voter Fraud

BALTIMORE – In response to a recent report that President Donald Trump claims massive voter fraud in New Hampshire last November in the form of thousands of voters brought to the state on buses, NHDP Chairman Ray Buckley released the following statement:

“It has unfortunately become common practice for Republicans in New Hampshire to peddle this widely-discredited conspiracy theory whenever they lose elections. I’m disappointed to see the president push this false claim. The many Democrats who were victorious in our state in November, including Hillary Clinton, won because more people voted for them, full stop.

“As leader of this state and its institutions, and as the victor of a statewide race in the election in question, Governor Chris Sununu should immediately condemn Donald Trump’s remarks. The very integrity of our democracy is at stake, and only because of this president’s damaged ego.”
